The craziest part of this is I am financing a Toyota Corolla hatchback and I have a friend named Eric with an i4😂😂
LOl
had me locked in for a minute at work I been binge watching you for a couple months love the content:) have a good one!
LOL
If you’re doing money the right way, one day you’ll earn enough to buy the BMW and you won’t even want to. I set up personal rules to block me from nonsense spending. My toys must be less than 10% of my net worth. Meaning if I want a 10k watch and a 30k car, I need 400k+ net worth. The vast majority just can’t relate to this bc as soon as they have a job that can finance the car, they’ll get it. Or buy a Datejust on a credit card. Every time my car is in the shop they give me this hybrid Corolla and I actually really enjoy it! Love yours @mjm0107
lol
comparison is the thief of joy
It’s also the giver of gratitude. When I drive my car I imagine some dude on a horse and feel like I’m on a rocket
Yin and yang bro, people just wanna yang hard nowadays because everything’s external. Yin baby yin
If you compare the wrong thing.
Unless your comparing yourself to a loser, then it’s awesome
Okay Humphrey you obviously read my mind this afternoon. This video is perfectly timed! I know I’m not really behind, but with social media extraordinary people living crazy lives are at our fingertips. Never in history has it been so easy to find the 0.01 percent of the population. That being said, I have work to do
exactly! thanks for leaving that comment!
I financed a 2016 Corolla S Plus at $360/month in 6 year plan in 2016. At first paid monthly & more than required payment then started to pay weekly to help lower interest. Managed to pay it off & a second personal car a few years later thanks to putting in the work for years.
Also, influencers get a lot of their stuff for free and are paid in one way or another to advertise that free stuff. They pretend that they bought the stuff cause they already wanted it.
Yes we are in a new set, and I brought the BTTF posters back! Enjoy!!
Ask her if she can life off a handbag when she is retired in her 70’s 😂
Oh I just figure most are broke. I am thrifty and save about 1600 a month currently then my honey farm will bring in cash flow later.
Do you have link for where you can get the posters and the frame?
Hello Humphrey, how can i contact you for some advice?
Personal success is like weight lifting, your only in competition with your self.

Great video. I dont even bother worrying about what other folks are doing or have as it has nothing to do with my life. Where i am and where i am going is my only focus and i would recommend that for everyone.
Great video!!!! Social media has made mental health worse by allowing people to to look at other people’s lives daily, thinking they are doing better than them.
Precisely why I deactivated my facebook account. I do it from time to time. Sure I miss out on events. But ultimately my mental health is far more important than being informed of my friends’ daily activities.
Social media is by far the biggest cause of mental illness in todays society.
2:05 I didn’t know gas for an electric BMW would be more expensive 😉
😂😂 right I’m like wait
I came here to say this. Maybe he’s charging it with a gas generator 😂
Exactly what I was thinking lmao 😂
Unless you have solar panels or subsidized charging, the fuel cost for electricity is about the same as gasoline
@@CarlosRodriguez-hb3vq
You must live in a place where fuel is exceptionally cheap!. Petrol here is around $2.20 per litre and my kwh price is around $0.20 (I got a fixed contract just before the Ukraine war so I know my electricity is on the cheap side)
I wake up and thank GOD everyday. Absolutely blessed. I’ve done this since I was dead broke to now while being comfortable and setup for my future.
Humphrey, this really hit a nerve! Many people have told me, “I’M A BEHIND.” They said it using slightly different words.😂
I grew up in poverty. I only need to compare to my former self to appreciate the “good life” that I have now.
the mental gymnastics people do to justify their luxury car is beyond me just to get from home to work and back for 30 minutes a day lol
This video is great. The grass is greener is soooo true. So many people think money and financial comfort happens easily and people often do not realize the sacrifices that were made for years and continue to be made for financial stability.
My literal next door neighbors (with 4 kids) were about to lose their house last year and had their electric cut off multiple times. They had extensions on their behind mortgage and a GoFundMe was their only saving grace.
Finally, the father’s disability was approved and 2 months later they are driving a 2020 Kia Carnival and a 2025 Jeep Gladiator.
My wife and I drive a 2007 Denali truck and a 2014 ford suv. We don’t have car payments and purchased our home when prices and rates were at an all time low pre-pandy.
My wife wants to buy a bigger home and a newer 3rd row SUV and it’s so frustrating to see all of our friends and neighbors doing so and her constantly saying “if they can do it, then why can’t we.” I WISH she could see just how good we have it.
Im 28 my wife is 26, she drives a 2016 Durango, I drive a 2013 Lincoln and we have a 2007 Ram, all paid for in cash, we make $150k/yr, full funded 401ks, Roth IRA’s and contribute to a 529 for our daughter and we just bought a house and have zero debt other than the house. I’ve been wanting to buy my wife a new Durango Hellcat but we always back out because we don’t want the debt. My sister and her husband, work under the table making about $80k, get state assistance, don’t own a home, tons of credit card debt and just bought a new hellcat Durango using his grandpas credit. When I found out I was so mad because my wife and I choose not to splurge or spend recklessly and all day I had to mutter to my self “I get to retire at 59 1/2”. It sucks just have to keep reminding ourselves of why we’re doing what we do.
Should be careful. You need to have serious talk with your wife n be on same page. We drive 90s cars with my wife using 40 dollar bag. People have no idea what we have. We keep it to ourselves
I got my home in 2021 with 2.5% but it was a starter home and I want a bigger one now but the rates are crazy high
@@kilroywashere9678 it’s definitely a girl thing. My wife is the same way. I also buy crypto religiously; however to her, if it’s not in her bank account to spend it’s not real money.
Meanwhile I believe, why put my money in a bank account? To lose value to inflation? To spend it on junk?
Meanwhile she wants a new Denali Yukon; because her previous paid off new car is “too old” 😑
And we’re set to retire off our investments (without crypto) at 55.
Did you help their gofundme?
I like to engage in what I call the “stealth wealth double bluff” which is where I dress like a hobo and take the bus so people will think I’m hiding fabulous wealth but I’m actually pretty broke.
That’s some inception type shiznit right there
🤣🤣 too funny
This man is playing 4D chess while the rest of us are playing checkers.
I am past all of these envies. I am content on what I have and nothing really makes me envy anyone because everyone has their own struggles. I mind my own business.
All good reminders. I feel like there is a fine line between looking at others for inspiration or guidance and looking at others in comparison or envy.
Progress is a practice and mindset matters.
