“His rent was like $300 a month.”

Man, I grew up in Tennessee and am only in my thirties and MY rent was $300 a month when I got my first place.

Will it be enough or not? Let me know below. Also Happy Lunar New Year!🧧🎊

If you retire outside the us, absolutely. If you want to keep suffering, not at all.

    • @wildmikefilms says:

Imagine calling living in the US suffering.

Imagine calling it suffering to be living in the most powerful and wealthy country with vast opportunities and places to live and work.

    • @invinciblemode says:

@@ericlancaster2889clearly you haven’t traveled. The vast majority of US is 3rd world. Trash infrastructure, trash healthcare, trash education.

Thanks. Hit FIRE and took the plunge at 32, with $1.4 about 3 months ago!

I gauge inflation by Carne Asada burritos. High School 5$. now 12$.

  • @New-GenFinance says:

3:05 eye opening graphic for those of us in our 20’s and 30’s. I feel like with inflation people in my generation are also saving less and less for retirement. May feel hard to get by right now, but the sooner we can put money away the more compounding interest power we get!

  • @SeansGodwins says:

Hit 100k few weeks back! Just going to try to keep my head down and keep on keeping on. Turning 29 in few days!

  • @kiranicharles0112 says:

Awesome video. I want to share few simple things that helped me level up financially:
    1. I stopped believing the ‘get rich quick’ nonsense and started focusing on building real skills
    2. I started reading books on mindBloomery – learning about mindset and self-mastery changed everything. It’s the kind of knowledge that stays with you forever
    3. I read their “Power of assertiveness: Unlock your potential”, and I learned how to negotiate better. It’s wild how people respond differently when you know your worth
    4. I stopped thinking of retirement as an ‘age goal’ and started to look at it as a financial freedom goal

  • @ChanMingMason says:

I am so happy that i made a productive decision about my finances that changed my life forever. I am a single Dad and i live in Florida, i bought a new Car in September and i hope to retire next year at 50 if all goes well, I began this journey in May 2024. Financial education is essential for over 70% of the population, as only a few are truly literate in this area. Thanks to Mrs Angie Chen Owens for helping me achieve this.

    • @FranklinFranklin_ says:

I’m surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of her clients testimonies on CNBC news last week

    • @JohnnyClinton-wx9eu says:

Angie Owens strategy has normalised winning trades for me also. and it’s a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started

    • @ValentinePotter says:

The first time we had tried, i invested $1400 and after a week we received $4,230. That really helped us a lot to pay our bills.

    • @FelixDedrick says:

You trade with Angie Owens too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family

    • @ZenirexLogistics says:

I’m new at this, please how can I reach her?

  • @benjamindavidson22 says:

Most Americans find it hard to retire comfortably amid economy downtrend. Some have close to nothing going into retirement, my question is, will you pay off mortgage as a near-retiree, or spread money for cashflow, to afford lifestyle after retirement?

    • @Johnlarry12 says:

as most investing-related questions, the answer is, it depends.. my best suggestion is to consider advisory management

    • @frankbarnes22 says:

Agreed, the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around 300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.

    • @monicawill5 says:

Oh I’ve heard similar things about hiring an advisor. It’s hard to choose one that’s very good though. Could you make some useful recommendations?
Enthused about investing for my eventual retirement.

    • @frankbarnes22 says:

My CFA, Carol Vivian Constable is a renowned figure in her field. I recommend researching her name online; you’ll find all her credentials and everything you need to work with a reliable professional. With many years of experience, she is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.

    • @monicawill5 says:

Thank you so much for the suggestion! I really needed it. I looked her up on Google and explored her website; she has an impressive background in investments. I’ve sent her an email, and I hope to hear back from her soon!

  • @yiannchrst says:

I have about 6k to my name and I just started my University this year. I am not from the US and my tuition is completely free. I live with my parents and I have no job currently, but I’m looking for a part time one. I want to hold long-term for retirement, but I believe the market will be very volatile now so I’m not sure what to do.
What are your general tips? Anything that could help will be appreciated!

  • @Anthonyrodrigues011 says:

I reached $138k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and insights you’ve shared with me over the past few months. I began this journey in October 2024. Financial education is essential for over 70% of the population, as only a few are truly literate in this area.
Thanks so much Kimberly Ann Doran

  • @nicksmith8141 says:

About to hit that mark in my early 40s. Nowhere close to enough. Anticipating 3.5 million minimum. Pushing hard to maintain a 35% savings rate.

  • @Anthonycurt7 says:

I Hit $32,590 today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last week. i started with 5k in last week 2025…. now i just hit $32,590

    • @Normazuckerman says:

How did you manage to achieve that level of growth? I’ve been trying everything I can to improve my investments, l want to retire in a few years and I need a better diversification

    • @Anthonycurt7 says:

It’s Charlotte Gina Miller doing, she’s changed my life.

    • @Mehmettunç10r says:

I’m celebrating £32K stock portfolio today… Started this journey with £3K…. I’ve invested no time and also with the right terms, now I have time for my family and life ahead of me.

    • @brigittewagnerr says:

I’m new at this, please how can I reach her?

    • @Miriamsanchez0 says:

The first time we had tried, we invested €14,000 and after a week we received €50,230. That really helped us a lot to pay our bills.

  • @richardhudson1243 says:

Most people don’t realise it, but the secret to retiring comfortably is finding a way to make returns while your money works for you. My dad, as I remember, started saving for retirement quite late, but I know he was making more than 10k returns from his investment monthly and it was completely passive.

    • @LUCIASMITH-d1z says:

This is really amazing though. I’m curious as to how he did it. Was it real estate? Or he was a market enthusiast?

    • @richardhudson1243 says:

Haha. Investing enthusiast? Not really. Our family got introduced to a financial advisor about four years before my dad retired. That was what changed things. I’ve been using the same now and I think my retirement income would be on the right track.

    • @JacobsErick-u8r says:

I’m intrigued by this. I’ve searched for financial advisors online but it’s kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?

    • @richardhudson1243 says:

I really don’t like making such recommendations, because everybody’s situation is unique. But there are many freelance advisors you could check out. We have been working with Melissa Terri Swayne, and she’s really, really good. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead with her. I endorse her.

    • @HoskinsShanellNicole says:

Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach on web. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.

  • @tonymon4274 says:

I have plans to retire in the next few years and I am not doing very well with my current financial goals..I would be glad if anyone can share their thoughts on this and how to navigate it.

    • @Garryschenck432 says:

It’s good you’re planning your retirement early enough and i understand your concerns because I was there some years ago. But truth is, you will see a lot of videos talking about finances and retirement. You need proper knowledge and guidance to achieve results so you won’t jump from one video to another seeking solution. A financial consultant can help you figure out the best options and also create a plan that align with your retirement goals.

    • @lorrettahaney1399 says:

Yes I’m also facing retirement plan issues😢

    • @tonymon4274 says:

Hello Garry that’s an interesting point from you. Please can you share your with me your financial consultant ? You seems to have achieved amazing success over the years. I would be glad if you can share

    • @tonymon4274 says:

That’s very impressive. Please connect with your fudiciary

    • @tonymon4274 says:

Thank you for the Garry please I would like to work with your consultant
