Glycine and Melatonin = sweet dreams

  • @uplift-yourdailypickup6424 says:

There’s no research yet into the long term effects of high dose melatonin so I’d be careful. If I take melatonin I’m out for a few hours but then wake up wide awake at around 3-5am.

  • @marinafoglietti9351 says:

I take 10 mg a day. 1000 mg. It’s impossible to find here.

  • @faisal-ca says:

Even 1 mg melatonine showed great results for me. I recently stopped it since after healing my gut , my sleep has improved on its own. Perhaps I started feeling a bit drowsy.

  • @reggie5 says:

and here’s me getting afraid of moving up from 1mg to 2mg πŸ˜…

  • @BarryGee-pm6rv says:

Consulting your doctor about taking various supplements or diet is a waste of everyone’s time. Most doctors don’t have a clue about nutrition.

  • @melissastewart8955 says:

    Enlightening. Thanks.

  • @andrewrivera4029 says:

Can’t wait for the 5 year update! I’ll be 64 then!

  • @tanpeng2884 says:

have a good sleep is touch and go for me, saw this video, took 240mg last night, have one of the best sleep, i will try every night, do update with your progress, thank you

  • @dougtrvl888 says:

    Great explanation !

  • @alisonhargreaves5169 says:

I take high dose melatonin for cancer. Love the work of Doris Loh and Russel Reiter.

  • @ptf55 says:

    Many thanks.

  • @TuffCheez says:

I’ve been taking 1 gram for the last week. 250m morning, lunchtime and 500m before bed. I’m 66yrs old. I’ve started to dream again in the last two nights. Pleasant dreams too! Apart from having to make some trips to the bathroom I’m sleeping deeper. I’m training hard in the gym and feeling good.

    • @nameconnect says:

I don’t understand you take it in the afternoon? Doesn’t that make you sleepy?

    • @TuffCheez says:

@@nameconnect I take it in the morning, afternoon and night and no it doesn’t make me sleepy. Only when I’m in total darkness I start to slip into deep sleep.

    • @billverster9615 says:

Stay strong and lift Heavy boosts your bone density and all round well being

    • @TuffCheez says:

@@billverster9615 Thanks, you too! BTW, I thoroughly recommend checking out Brig 20 exercises. He’s a bio mechanics expert who sadly passed last year. But he identified the 20 safest most effective exercises to do. It’s important for more senior people to avoid injury while lifting heavy. These are the safest exercises to follow and I lift heavy and safely at 66 with 0 injuries.

    • @i.k.153 says:

Where do you get high dose melatonin?
      Thank you πŸ™

  • @caulfieldmj says:

    I couldn’t find 250mg Melatonin capsules 😩
So I bought a capsule making system($40) and the capsule size-1 gives me exactly 250mg of Melatonin per capsule πŸ˜€

  • @HigherSelph says:

Why do all the health influencers and biohacking gurus claim glutathione is the body’s master antioxidant?

It’s also hard to fathom that someone like Huberman could be so wrong about melatonin.

    • @mmiahmaster says:

To tell you the truth. I removed all his podcasts from my saved files.

    • @GolfdrillsNet2015 says:

Famous people like Huberman get famous because they are allowed to while others get censored. You can guess why

    • @Luthiart says:

Huberman has been wrong about a number of other things. Never put ANYONE on an infalibility pedestal.

  • @clarencedolan699 says:

I take about as much and believe it or not, it doesn’t make me too drowsy.

  • @The_New_Abnormal_World_Order says:

Yes you have sparked my interest. I had personally given up on melatonin because it didn’t agree with me at 3-12mg. I might try higher doses in the future. I was under the impression that exogenous melatonin affected endogenous production negatively as well.

  • @Dogman3690 says:

Will keep in mind but now I be taking cariosin first then see how that works out.glad it works for you on your anti-aging journey.

  • @elbacarolinavillalobossand5679 says:

I take 3000 to 4000 mg daily for my breast cancer

  • @marcjames3487 says:

Short and sweet with great info, nice job mate. I’ve been taking 3 mgs a night for years just for sleep – I had no idea of it’s true power. …. but the doses here are massive in comparison. I’m on medication for uveal (eye) cancer which is shrinking it, but I’ll triple my dose tonight and watch Doris Loh tomorrow. I’ve also put myself on a high fat zero carb diet, but it’s getting really hard to exercise enough – so maybe morning afternoon melatoning will be good. I’ll let you know !
