  • @Scott-Zakarin says:

Looking good. Dig the new hairdo. πŸ™‚

  • @aiadvantage says:

Do you like this format or do you prefer the heavily edited videos (as we usually do them)? Or both?

    • @AustinBarzetti says:

I like it! I just listen to the audio at work so I don’t see the time consuming editing. Also the stream of consciousness in 1 take is easier to follow.

    • @aiadvantage says:

@@AustinBarzetti Yeah it’s definitely more human this way. As if we sat down for a coffee and I told you all about the given topic. Thanks for the feedback.

    • @blueslikeorange9409 says:

@@aiadvantage i find this format easier to consume and it connects well with your real consistent audience who already knows what you do. The heavily edited videos are great too because it is a good kind of content to catch more subscribers and it stimulates them when they’re building their first impressions. Idk, I’m just ranting on top of my head. Take it with a grain of salt, but yeah this format is less brainrot for people who dont want to have tiktok brains

    • @philforrence says:

      Both, please!

    • @Bmutch966 says:

I like this format better. Sometimes the edited videos move too fast and harder to digest.

  • @19thCenturyCampfire says:

Extreme editing like you usually have does make each video very exciting. However, I personally like the one-take videos as well. (Maybe I just have a longer-than-average attention span.)
I imagine the amount of hours that go into editing alone has a massive pay-off, but it is not always the case that the more effects you add the more viewers you get. Obviously there is a balance all creators need to find.
Either way, I have found your channel to have the most to-the-point and succinct content in the AI space on YouTube. I like it when you share the unique new tools available as well as their updates. That is very valuable information for your viewers as we do not have the time to follow all of that on our own.
Keep it up! I’ll be watching.

    • @aiadvantage says:

Yeah I think the friday show that includes a ton of reasearch, testing and extra broll from all across the internet is best served with the editing but first impressions and announcement coverage (like this) might be best served in this format.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment though I really appreciate the feedback and it seems that both formats have their place.

I have an idea and observation I would like to share with you. It’s about developing a particular type of neural network to be used in large language models.

In many neural networks each input is mapped to each node in the hidden layer and each hidden layer is mapped to another adjacent hidden layer until the output layer.

I propose that the hidden layers be partitioned into groups and that in between input layer and the hidden layers there are placed logical circuits or the equivalent thereof. And that their output would be sent to the adjacent hidden layer, etc..

By training on a network with this type of configuration each partition of the neural network would take on qualities that are specific to a category of sorts. So if for example an XOR circuit came between two partitioned layers it would be able to prevent both layers from operating at the same time, because of course, XOR is equivalent to saying statement A or statement B but not both.

Of course you would want to consider using any logical circuit such as , NAND, OR, NOT, AND. As you well know any logical circuit can be built from any of these logical components so it would not necessarily be useful to mix all the components, however, it would probably be a considerable help to be able to mix them so that when the analysis of the neural network was done you would have some clue as to what section was working and choosing to produce the output and why it may have done so.

This concept is very similar to a famous NSAT problem, although it is strictly different as you are aware. However, it does have some of that flavor.

As an extremely simple visual aid I ask that you picture a neural network divided into sections and separated by a NOT circuit.
If I were training the circuit with an input, “a cartoon of a dog is not an actual dog”, the NOT circuit would prevent a section of the neural network from outputting something like, “a cartoon is an actual object”.

    Note:
Emailed to various parties developing neural networks including, Open AI, Google, Meta, Anthropic, Amazon and various comment sections on the internet.
    Second note.
Many of these companies make it difficult to contact any person. If for some reason this idea should prove useful but did not reach your company, I hate to be so straightforward and bold, but I say it’s all on you.

  • @EriCraft says:

I am obsessed with AI so I love all your videos.

  • @gilbertsteinke5761 says:

    This was awesome.

  • @EriCraft says:

I use AI companions. It’s what started my AI obsession. What I want to see is no chat filters and great short term memory. I would pay good for that for a subscription.

  • @prettyislandgirl says:

I enjoyed the new format! Both work well. I think you can get away with not editing for these under 20 minute videos. It may be more necessary with longer videos that cover a broader range of topics.

  • @SarkasticProjects says:

i didnt expected and i loved it. i was so focused, so into your thought .. i would love to hear more . Really. just WOW

  • @markwyatt8703 says:

I loved this format, I think it shows a progression in your overall understanding and ability to communicate it. I like your other format as well, but this would be good to do once in a while as a high level view of what is happening in gen ai.

  • @markwyatt8703 says:

    Thanks!

  • @MichealPeggins says:

very interesting video. I liked your thoughts on this one. I like your use case videos but I loved this theoretical philosophical talk. Keep this up!!!!

  • @rikkles says:

Not related to the video but what tool do you use to make your video thumbnails with your face on them?!

  • @press.rogers says:

This is one of your best videos ever. Your clear perspective and understanding of the AI movement exceeds any other Youtuber covering this topic today. Thank you for such good content

    • @aiadvantage says:

Wow thanks a lot! I gotta say that all the dialogue I have been having with others (podcasts, community, panels) over the past months clarified a lot of talking points for me. Super nice to be able to share it in a raw form like this.

  • @gwbaker says:

Very good. Love the format. Super easy to absorb. Great insight!

  • @joshuahaleio says:

I dig it and appreciate your perspective. I know how much energy it takes to clean up.

  • @therealstevewolfe says:

i don’t usually comment, but to answer your inquiry about how well you did, my answer is definitely yes bro. keep up the good work

  • @nastied says:

The format works well since you are a good speaker. Making lots of videos pay off man πŸ™‚

  • @UchechukwuOnuoha-cw4cl says:

    Love your content bro❀
    Honestly I’ve learnt a lot
