Serious ChatGPT Upgrades & More AI Use Cases

Learn how to use AI to get ahead in The AI Advantage Community 👉

OpenAI surprised everyone this week by dropping a new ChatGPT feature called Canvas out of nowhere. OpenAI says they've designed it to make coding and writing better than ever in ChatGPT, and though it just came out, the team's early tests agree with that claim.

But we also got the unexpected release of the new Pika 1.5 video generation model from Pika Labs, along with big updates to Notion AI and more. It was a huge week in AI and I'll break it all down for you in this AI News You Can Use!

  • @tonyblack2141 says:

I wont call Canvas an imitation/copy of Artifacts as it is on another level… rather I would agree it’s inspired by Artifacts and Perplexity’s Notes feature.

  • @Grapplinginstructionals says:

Great information. So you have any tips on how to bypass the chat gpt or claude 3 when it comes to policy. I wrote a lot and so often I will receive a notification that I wrote something that be sensitive to others. Imagine how for escape the movie fight club or the godfather would have been written had this policy been in place? 😂
Is there a better ai for fictionwriters?

Hello, having fun with generative AI speech, images, videos, sound effects, lip syncing, glitches, and more. What an amazing editing team! Dig the thumbnail code background.

  • @koen.mortier_fitchen says:

If I could give it access to all files of my code, it would be useful for coding. It’s needed because code files refer to other files.

  • @myboringdesktop says:

Maye next time they can release a coding release that works.

  • @CM-zl2jw says:

I found an interesting and sad tidbit of information. I asked ChatGPT 4o what it’s context window is, and it gave me two responses. In one it responded with a measly 8k. In another it responded with 128k. I’m not sure why the disparity, but I’m guessing that different modes (ie: canvas vs regular chat) are being given different context window sizes. I suppose testing will reveal whether this is true or not. Definitely an interesting, and valuable test.
