Medical Research is CORRUPT!

The medical research system is CORRUPT. And it's all legal and well known. I discuss selective publication where drug companies do lots of studies, publish the positive ones and ignore the negative ones so that it looks like medical evidence is overwhelmingly positive. Why is it done like this? Becuase Big Pharma is paying the universities, the hospital and the doctors, and making big bucks. Everybody is happy , except for the patients. Check it out

Yes, a lot of people are aware but thank you Dr Fung for being courageous to help educate those that don’t.

  • @hhorgan9 says:

Thank you! Bias is everywhere, as well as selective publication.

  • @kita-1116 says:

You are absolutely correct! And it annoys me when commenters on health posts say ‘show me the medical research’… not realizing that a lot of those research publications are not true.

  • @tuyendo7409 says:

Thank you dr Fung for calling them out 💙

It must be so disheartening and frustrating for Medical Professionals like yourself who really care about people and their health. I feel as though my health is in my own hands and with luck I find the select few left in the medical profession to help me along. So thank you for your dedication and service to mankind.

All research can be slanted. As an educator I see this often. A new “research-based, data-driven” strategy becomes “gospel” and required as best practice, but they only use the research and data that support their ideas. There’s both positive and negative data in most research.

That’s my doctor there. Good on you Dr Fung

  • @WanieB says:

Sad that as a country we have allowed this to keep happening. But it’s a sign of a much bigger problem though, there is prestige, attention and grant money in a diagnosis.

  • @nickyrc1012 says:

Thank you for helping us Dr. Fung!

  • @noelmacadangdang4666 says:

I agree. If you do not have insurance, you will pay expensively for a consultation that will last for just 5 mins.
