I’d add to this car insurance. When was the last time you shopped for rates? Do you need to adjust coverage based on current value of vehicle? Etc…
Shopping for rates doesn’t work anymore. So many insurance companies are leaving altogether so rates are not competitive at all

add to that interest, taxes fees closing costs maintenance cost utility cost . They say its the best way to build wealth. if you buy a house for 500k in 30 years you’ve paying out 3 times that in interest taxes etc so in reality you just spent $1.5 mill
so don’t get married, take the bus, don’t buy anything

It’s crazy the amount of people that live above their means with fancy cars. I think it’s easy to justify without leasing and the math they try to do to confuse you but it’s so harmful to your future self.
