    Just into my first 24hrs. Don’t know how long I can go. Everyone is going out to dinner and of course I was invited. Then Jason shows up in my feed for the first time since??? I listened to him mention his four day effort and it renewed my strength and resolve. Burn baby burn!

      Don’t give up guy, willpower needs exercise as much as muscles. Something to consider, take a teaspoon of salt when you’re getting hungry, it serves two purposes: 1) it will help suppress appetite, and 2) it will help replenish crucial electrolytes (which our bodies naturally shed during fasts). I get the course pink sea salt, let’s me chew on it for a few minutes. It’s a little odd at first, but give it a shot. Check “no lab coat required” for some science-based views of salts & electrolytes. Salt has been demonized for decades, but it should not have been.

    I cannot thank you enough Dr. Fung. I was able to improve my health through applying what I learned from you, Dr. Jamnadas and Dr. Bikman about fasting, insulin and the myriad effects of insulin in the body.

    I can now wear large sized garterized pants (Asian size) from upper 3xl size since March 2024 after 11 months of doing intermittent fasting. My weight loss is slow but I am happy with the results. I now feel far better and in a lot better place than how and where I was where my health is concerned a year ago.

    I am 58 years old and I do 18 hours of fasting most days. Sometimes I do 20 hours, OMAD and 3 day water fast every 4 months. I also reduced my carbs, specifically rice intake. I’ve since given up eating rice based delicacies; flour products like cookies, noodles and all other flour products (I eat bread rarely); root crop based delicacies (I eat root crops rarely); fruits except avocado; and, sweets like chocolate.

I look forward to the update to The Obesity Code. I don’t have diabetes, but I have recommended your diabetes book to people. I know that do have it. Thank you for all you do

    Last month, I completed my second 108-hour fast (five nights, four days). This time, I did a strict water-only fast—no green tea or coffee. I found days 3 and 4 particularly challenging, but I noticed significant health benefits afterward, feeling both healthier and biologically younger.

    Hi Dr. Fung! I have been maintaining my 160lb weight loss well after finding your books, lectures and interviews four years ago. I live a fasting lifestyle and have been eating a ketovore diet.
