Menopause is killing me, I’m 54
I have perimenopause symptoms in my 30s. My mom had it pretty early too. 😢 I’ve been working hard to lose weight and my other family doesn’t believe me. Not encouraging at all but I’m not giving up! 💪 Keep going! 🔋 ❤

@@denaj6711 how big is your deficit? Are any macros cut really low? Could be inflammation as a stress response to too deep a cut or too low macros?
@@carolannN9712cut out carbs added protein and lost appetite so ends up low calorie intake during day. Weird fluid retention though

Great video! What about whey protein powders, shakes, and others that are manmade? As a pescatarian, I struggle to get enough protein, but these are created in a lab.
A lot of fish is high protein, you would need to eat fish at 3 meals and then tuna pots 3 times a day.
@@marleyhill34 the tins in which the tuna is stored are not good for your health. These metals strip minerals out of your body
@@jayanouni where i live you can buy fresh tuna and make your own pots or it comes in glass jars. 🤷🏾♀️You can also buy frozen tuna. If you really want to change your body and your diet, you have to change your lifestyle and stop aimlessly buying whatever the supermarket puts on the shelf.
Back fat accumulation is an issue for me! Any feedback on addressing this problem?
When you say HIIIT do you mean during the 20 mins you do a burst of an activity that increases your HR for a couple of mins and then rest for 2 mins, or do you mean just 20 mins of straight cardio?

I’ve been noticing more and more YouTubers saying that menopausal women even perimenopausal women should not eat carbohydrates not even whole food carbs!!!! Why not even whole food carbs? I don’t want to eat a low-carb diet! I don’t want to eat a keto diet,, I don’t want to eat a carnivore diet, Please tell me this is just guru diet influencers nonsense and we can still eat carbs in menopause as long as their whole foods with vitamins minerals and fiber right?
I do like eating honey or blackstrap molasses or date syrup once in a while but I only have one tablespoon and I have it with a meal, I feel like this is healthier than eating sticks of butter like Some guru diet influencers are telling menopausal women they should do
The 10k plus women on my programs have got amazing results eating carbs. It’s a bad idea to skip carbs because they help you build muscle through the energy they provide, brain function relies on carbs & general energy
@@MelissaNeill Yes definitely I myself feel amazing when I eat carbs! I used to eat a low-carb diet only because I thought I had to , but I was so miserable eating that diet and eventually it made me sick
Hair falling out heart palpitations trouble sleeping hypoglycemia no energy I hate it that diet I love eating carbs, I would think that if women stop eating carbs because of menopause it will do more harm
So I don’t understand why these people are spreading misleading harmful information , I fell for it then I Won’t fall for it now !
