Reversing Insulin Resistance

Insulin resistance is the underlying problem of type 2 diabetes and linked to many chronic diseases. how does it develop and how can you reverse it? In all biologic systems, resistance develops as a natural response to excessive levels, meaning that the cause of insulin resistance is too much insulin. So how do you reverse it? lower insulin – how? Intermittent fasting, reducing refined carbs.

I went down to 6.0 by the ketogenic diet…
Further down to 5.0 with organic supplements and walking…

I don’t understand why all these shorts refer to a linked video, but I can never find a link. Where can I find the links?

    • @just3cats115 says:

It’s always right above the title of the short

    • @vickideem3523 says:

@@just3cats115 That works on my phone. Thanks. But I like to stream these on the TV for the bigger screen and it doesn’t work there. Is there a way to get to the link on the TV?

    • @pursuehealth940 says:

@@vickideem3523 once you follow a link using your phone, go to your viewing history on your TV or desktop YouTube. You’ll find any that you started.

    • @just3cats115 says:

@@vickideem3523 I don’t think so, youtube seems to be way behind on the tv app unfortunately.

Side note: I’ve read that fasting can also help reduce the chance of dementia, any truth to that?

    • @1morevictim says:

      Yes kills off damaged cells

    • @saturnslipper says:

Getting into autophagy on a regular basis helps. It’s the body’s natural clean up of damaged cells. Dr. Fung speaks to other drs on how to reverse damage we cause thru our lifestyle. He has an almost unbelievable knowledge about reversing damage and fasting/autophagy. Search here on Youtube and on dr Fung’s channel under Autophagy. Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Mindy Pelz and Dr. Annette Bozworth all have a lot of info on what is, how it works and how to cause it to happen. Hope this helps.💜
