This is so fascinating to me! Being 22, it seems that any woman who has kids before they’re 30 (where I live) is treated similarly to a teen mother. I have taken on student loans and must pay them off before my fiancé and I marry and have kids. Its hard to see a way to our financial end goal of it being a financially safe decision to have babies, so its inspiring to see somebody do it in the opposite order. It’s nice that children do not have to be a financial pitfall you cant recover from- that they can just be kids and you can enjoy your time with them very much. ❤❤❤😂

What a great story about resilience. Both of them made sacrifices to provide for their family and overcame adversity! Proud of her for having 2 kids and finishing school, and proud of him for working so hard to support their dreams!

What an amazing interview! Jazmin is such an inspirational woman! I loved how she described asking her mom about if she was investing/matching her retirement too. It goes to show that you don’t k ow what you don’t know, so entire families can miss out on financial education so easily because the knowledge isn’t there to pass on to the next generation. Hearing how she started learning about peraonal finance and how she and her husband made debt payoff work for them in such difficult circumstances is truly inspiring because it makes it feel like financial stability IS possible. Great questions, great discussion, great guest. Love this so much ❤

The guest was lovely and I enjoyed hearing a different American’s experience told on this channel.

I am curious about her husband’s family’s decision to have him born in Mexico when they were all living in the US. Could anyone explain to me why? Thanks!

I’m enjoying these more realistic financial stories.. not the situations where people pay off 100k in a few years but then also make six figures with no kids😂

As someone who got pregnant at 23 it is wild how I am now seen as being too young to have a baby. I can’t imagine the stigma an actual teen mom faces in today’s day and age.

I’m so proud and amazed by how much perseverance she has🤍

Jazmin was a great guest! Loved hearing her journey with her husband and family. I’m in my mid-20’s and having children as a teenager sounds so scary, but Jazmin and her man seemed dedicated to make life work for their entire family and that’s very impressive.
