  • @matw1x says:

Good day to stock up on more VOO today

  • @politicscommentator says:

    Yes

  • @Sakurasan2023 says:

    No

  • @Mareno33 says:

If you say yes you’re a fool and broke 😂

  • @ABagOfQuestionMarks says:

We still use pennies cuz what else will I pick up to receive a day of good luck?

  • @cl4y says:

No, keep physical payment not everything needs to be on screens.

    • @muphynman221 says:

Eliminating the penny is not some big brother conspiracy to put everything into electronic payments. Canada got rid of their penny in 2013, they just round cash transactions to the 5 cent piece.

Honestly it looks really silly to take this alarmist conspiracy theorist approach to something so benign. Take some time to reflect on what brought you to assume something so silly without the smallest of reasons for doing so.

    • @johnschwalb says:

We don’t use halfpennies anymore because it was such a low value. The penny should be retired and prices should reflect that by ending with a 5 or zero.

  • @wufflemann says:

No! Some ppl use cash and how can change be made?

  • @mikemorrow98 says:

No. For those paying with cash it would increase their cost by $.04. For most of us that’s not an issue but for lower income individuals that might be an issue over time.

    • @muphynman221 says:

When rounding to the nearest X, the expected value will be zero, that is, it would not expect to have a net cost or benefit. Some numbers will round up, some will round down.

This is already happening today. When you add a 6.785% sales tax on a purchase of $15.67 it is very, very obviously not going to be an exact penny result. So it is rounded.

  • @Logan0o says:

    DONT LET CASH DIE!

  • @leborhal7450 says:

in five years they’ll say the same thing about the nickle and dime… the problem here isn’t the penny, its the inflation making it a lost cost.

  • @mac23806 says:

Some of those pennies are worth thousands

  • @rickyhawley3482 says:

I knew someone who I use to work with, who hated Pennies and said they’re useless etc. so I offered to take them off her hands….but she refused lol. She’s suddenly felt they were valuable 😂
