  • @Dis3spectful says:

so happy it’s finally out. Just wish everything in the demo was ACTUALLY available

    • @aiadvantage says:

Yeah the camera access and desktop access are huge parts of why the demos were so crazy. Once they drop I will make another video.

  • @welovesummernz says:

yes to the Portugese translation vid!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • @aneesh2683 says:

It’s actually available for free users as well, but the catch is you get only about 15 Min per month usage.

    • @trappedcat3615 says:

How many minutes per day and month do you get on paid plan? I’m currently fine with my 30 seconds a day free plan. ๐Ÿ˜…

    • @10minuteimprovementpodcast says:

@@trappedcat3615 an hour a day, The worst part is it counts even when you stay silent and there’s no way to pause no physical button to pause the conversation u can mute your mic but it still keeps counting against your quota

    • @chetanreddy6128 says:

yes, ur right but why there isn’t any announcement about this?

    • @noone-ld7pt says:

wait what?!? and I still don’t have it just because Europe?!

    • @VinoVeritas_ says:

โ€‹@@noone-ld7pt The UK has it and that’s Europe.

  • @JosefTorkelsen says:

Iโ€™m not a fan at all of the advanced Voice. Itโ€™s not current with the Internet a lot of time it fails for me or gets too garbled and I have to tell it to repeat itself. I keep interrupting it by mistake so I have to do an extra step every time just to mute it.

    • @Mimi_Sim says:

Ditto. Had better chats (granted not reasoning) with Pi last year.

    • @Toxicflu says:

try with a newer phone, or better internet provider. or close background apps. The garbling happens when the phone is overwelmed. and if you have a question that needs internet, then switch to the basic voice mode by just typing in something.

  • @AngryVal says:

Still one of THE best resources on the Internet to keep up with this incredibly rapidly changing technology – thank you Igor!

  • @Dummy_1700 says:

This is so amazing I love it ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • @MikePhirmanWatchables says:

On top of translating, since youโ€™ve done your translations in a chat, you can ask it later things like, โ€œWhat was the name of the shop she told us to go to?โ€

  • @ObsidianFire-o7r says:

Those were some pretty cool ways to see this being used. I recently had to go for an interview for a US visit visa and used it to practice and it really helped make me feel ,ucj more confident and got the visa approved! As a sidenote, I do appreciate that even though you have self-promotion, you never push it hard or too many times in a single video like some creators do in their videos.

    • @Antonypeiris says:

Yeah so I tried that thing it I want you to be quiet now. And not say anything until I tell you that you can talk again. It really really didn’t work. It couldn’t stop saying “ok, going to be quiet now. ”
I tried to explain that I would know it understood if it was just quiet and said nothing. It Answer was “I understand now I will say nothing.” I tried Explained that it’s still saying something and not being quiet. And it said “oh I’m sorry from now on I will be quiet. ” Yeah so annoying.
But maybe if I was quiet it wouldn’t say anything!? But I do have a problem with it, starting to talk before I’m finished talking.
Even if it’s just interrupting by saying “I will be quiet now and not interrupt you. ” But maybe it’s because I use it in Swedish I don’t know. Wait I will try it in English. And it actually said the word [silent]. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ

    • @fitybux4664 says:

Did it do things like ask you to recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag? (To be fair, I know nothing of what this process requires.) Wait, I’m thinking of the citizenship test.

  • @reggieagames says:

I’ve actually been using it to help me learn Japanese. It’s really cool. Love the video btw.

  • @jonathanshroyer9762 says:

I used it to start learning Klingon, High Valeryan, and Dothraki.

    • @fitybux4664 says:

I got it to admit that it doesn’t know the intonation of some languages, but it does know them for other languages. (Not sure if just a hallucination or what.)

  • @l4urent12 says:

Is there a way to use the more conversational model in writing mode without voice? Useful for scripting video scripts

  • @amandamate9117 says:

now i can take a walk, brainstorm with my airpods with chatGPT about things and it looks “normal” to outsider like as if i am in a phone call.

    • @jamalnasir930 says:

I have just started doing this…describing what i see waiting for it to translate what i have just said into the target language.

    • @fitybux4664 says:

@@jamalnasir930 “Hi. I am a Gen X-er. You will function as a Gen Y translator. Translate things such as ‘bet’ into their actual words. Then, explain to the Gen Y person why such a phrase is annoying for any normal person, for instance, it is ambiguous as to whether you actually mean to place a bet, or some other newer meaning assigned that has nothing to do with betting.”
